Jacqui is a Registered Psychologist who has been working in the area since 1999.
Early on, she worked as a Lifeline Counsellor, a TAFE Counsellor/Psychologist, and as a specialist on Youth At Risk Programs until she branched out into private practice in 2004.
Throughout her career she has taken her passion for valuing emotional health into the media, becoming a spokesperson in print, on podcasts and TV to help a wider range of people.
Jacqui is a naturally warm and intuitive person who works with women, men and couples (aged 18-100!) and uses counselling (CBT, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) along with somatic tools such as meridian tapping, breathing/mindfulness and guided deep relaxations to help her clients find relief from life’s struggles.
Jacqui has a wealth of experience helping clients in a variety of areas, including (but not limited to):
• Managing anxiety and stress (including health anxiety)
• Relationship issues - encompassing love/romantic, friendships, parenting/familial.
• Trauma
• Grief and Loss
• Fertility struggles
• Sexual issues
• Sleep problems
